Hello folks,
I believe this is the correct forum for my question, as it really does not involve a "sale" to be placed in classified seciton (if not, Mods please move me).
I have a 2008 White Diamond/Ivory EX-V6 sedan that has the very nice wood trim on the dash and doors. While this is some of the most attractive wood trim I have seen, I am really not a fan of wood at all. I am interested in finding someone who has the black or gray interior (2008 EX sedan) who may want the wood trim package. If you want wood and I want silver/brushed, then maybe we can meet and swap trim pieces one Saturday afternoon?????
I am located in Central California (Greater Modesto area).
Please PM me if interested. Thanks.

What you can do, is bring it to a dealer. They will charge you about $350.00 installed.

So they would order the silver pieces and install them for that price?
Thanks!

What you should have done is when you bought the car tell them you didn't want the wood trim. Because they charged you extra to put that on and it was probably well above retail. They should have been able to swap it out before you left and reduce your cost for the car.

Thanks, but maybe I didn't clarify -
The Ivory interior comes with wood, where the Black or Gray comes with the silver trim. I am hoping to find a Black or Gray owner who wants the wood trim - then we can swap pieces and both save some money.
Thanks,
Hoppy

I don't think anyone will want to do that. Maybe, but i highly doubt it. People buy black and grey interior for that metal trim. To answer your other question, The pieces cost about $250.00 and about $100.00 labor. So approximatly $350.00 is what i ould expect to pay.
I would actually be interested in the swap. I find the silver trim to look "cold" along with the rest of the black and grey interior. I'm hoping that wood trim would "warm" it up a bit. I see 2 problems though. I would prefer to go back to the original trim if I ever wanted to and also I live in Northern Illinois.
I think it would be easier for me to go from silver to the wood trim but this is what I found out so far. It looks like the accessory wood kits don't include the trim on the front or rear doors, which I think would end up looking wrong. Provided that the wood accessory kits match the standard wood trim I think it would cost 524.68, this is my price list.
I see the wood dash trim kit for 158.40
The Wood Grain Steering Wheel Trim kit 98.40
Front Left door panel 66.97
Front Right Door Panel 66.97
Panel Right Rear 66.97
Panel Left Rear 66.97
Of course this is without any labor which I hope I would be able to do my self, and if anybody knows anything that can help either of us i would be quite grateful.
