Just not practial for my family with kids. Im tired of fooling myself. Dont get me wrong I love my car and so does everybody that sees it in person. The car would have fit me better 10 years ago. Also I dont like worrying about the car when I take it out. Im always concerned about door dings, and it get stolen or broken into. When I had my 06 pilot (that i traded) I didnt think about those things soo much. My kids hate riding in the car too, they would rather be in their moms 07 pilot. They want me to buy another SUV. Thinking about an Acura MDX.

The MDX's are very nice to and my kids constantly complain about me not having the Lexus anymore and say dads car is no fun lol thats why next week I'm getting my check from the credit union for an 08 Blk./Blk. 6 speed...

I put about $5000 into it. Im not trying to sell it locally or anything. Just decided to throw it out there here online. I dont have a problem keeping the car, but if I find a way out I will take it, to find something more practical. My family wasnt happy with me buying this car since day one. I had an 06 pilot with mods before that they liked better. I actually had 2 pilots. I figured we didnt need 2 pilots in the family and it would be ok for me to splurge and buy the sportier Accord and have fun hooking it up. In retrospec the pilot fit my family needs better.

I have owned it since Novemeber and the car only has 4000k miles on it.
Ouch - that's a lot of miles in only 5-6 months! :banana::lmao:
(take the "k" out before you post it more broadly)
I like the MDX as well - actually almost bought one of the first gen ones back in '04, but opted for the Pilot for more usable space and in a more affordable price range. The new MDX is certainly more of a "driver's" vehicle than the first gen was - I see a lot of 'em around here these days.

It was a joke because 4000K miles = 4,000,000.

lol....my bad....I meant 4K miles.....4,000 miles in 6 months is nothing....average yearly driving for a normal person is 12-15k a year.

damn bro...... :(
Wow, beautiful car. Sorry to see you decide to sell it so soon. I really don't think you have anything to worry about as far as the car being stolen. The engine immobilizer will prevent anyone from taking it without a tow truck. Seriously doubt anyone is going through the trouble to tow your car, but if so that's why you have insurance.
I know I couldn't go from that car to a SUV/mini van, but then again I wouldn't have purchased a coupe if I had a family in the first place. No kids here, and no plans to have them, means the coupe is perfect for me. Well best of luck, I'm sure someone will buy your car for that price. The 6-speed manual coupes are probably tough to find, and you put a lot of money into the car. Plus it's practically brand new with the low miles. If I was in the market for a new coupe I would give that serious consideration.

Thank you....unfortunatley I live and work in the Miami,FL area and car theft is VERY common here especially for Hondas in general. Tow truck theft is very common here as well...Some punk down here would love to be the first to have the EXL 6 speed V6 in their integra or older gen accord maybe even throw a turbo on it while their at it. I have seen it happen to other people first hand many many times over with all different types of cars and trucks. They will get you while your in the mall at work or in the middle of the night at your house. They even move other cars out of the way to get to yours if its blocked in. In the end if they want it bad enough they will get it, and yes that is what insurance is for (I have extra coverage for all my goodies too). If I lived in a more laid back area maybe I wouldnt worry so much. I guess me being xtra cautious and paranoid about my rides have kept them safe over the years I have moved to a better area now too (knock on wood). I have always been very cautious with my 'project' cars and I have had several. I usually have something else Im driving around also though. The other thing is Black drives me crazy to keep clean. I feel the need to wash it or wipe it down constantly. It looks sexxy as hell when its clean, but she becomes a dirty whore so easily.

My mom is doing a deal now trading her 06 TL for 08 MDX. With gas now 120.00/bar there are now predictions of seeing $5.00/gal gas. My mom is maybe gonna change her mind to TSX Tech Pkg. She doesnt drive much now being retired so shes still leaning toward MDX.

Sweet ride! Sorry to hear you are selling. I have searched your past post and could not find any info on your rim & tires. Would you care to share the brand and specs on the rims & tires you installed? Thanks in advance.

Sorry...not parting the car out...Either it gets sold complete as is or not at all. I dont have a problem keeping my baby...If somebody was interested in buying it for what I owe then I would let it go and get into a more family friendly vehicle.
how much did it cost u to lower ur car and the suspensions

$230 for the springs. $500 for the install with manual camber adjustments, alignment, and wheel balancing at a speciality shop. You can get the springs installed for about $150 at a regular high performance shop. About $100 additional for an alignment. I paid more because I took it to the best place I could find, because I was worried about some mickey mouse place doing the install.
