I bought a car from a young man who removed the 'Accord" and "V6" badges from the car. I am going to put them back on, and I was wondering what I should use for attaching them?

Anyone out there done this, and have suggestions?

Thanks.

Did he give you the old emblems???or are you buying new ones?? they come adhesive backed when you buy them...If your trying to reuse the old ones then get some 3m black double sided trim tape and apply to the back...However To me the emblems can be bought on ebay pretty cheap...It will be no fun cutting the tape flush with the emblem.. Id be inclined to spend $30 on the 2 emblems new to where I did not have to strip the old tape off and try to cut/match new stuff..

They shouldn't even be thirty if bought at the dealership.

I'd call and see.

I do have the original emblems, but I purchased the gold 'H' front and back, and the 'Accord'. The only one I am considering re-applying is the 'V6' emblem. I may look in to the tape.

Thanks.

I wound up buying some sticky substance from 3M for the 'V6' badge, and my car is now 're-badged'. It'll make cleaning and waxing a tad more difficult, but I like the way it looks.
