No >.<
I would DEFINATLY go... but ... its way too far of a drive
I'm thinking of getting people to circle their general living area of where they live in CA
and then try to find a place in the middle of that area where we can all meet instead of some having a 2 minute drive and others having a 4 hour drive (like i would have to at this location)

It seems to me that it's a better idea to have 2 meets where everybody has a "2 minute drive" rather than 1 meet where everybody has a 3 hour drive, which is what's going to happen when you have an AllCal meet. Your location states SoCal, why you are thinking of coming to an Accord meet in NorCal in the first place, I'm not sure :dunno: BAP and a SoCal forum has a yearly meet in San Luis Obispo, Supra guys meet in Las Vegas, OdyClub does Harris Ranch

Of course, I'm disappointed. I was looking forward to meeting a few people.

Neither one of us are really cheese cake eaters... my prince had a wonderful apple crisp & I had a sugar free strawberry cheese cake. We ate dinner too. I had to eat left handed & it was my first meal since my surgery! Talk about a challenge!!

Since I'm stuck with the wrapping till July 1st, I "bling'd" it.

Hi,

Ah, I'm confused? I was their. 3PM??? I checked, no Drive Accord group (I used the name "Drive Accord" they gave me a funny look, oh well. I sat at a table for 6, by my self (out side to the left of the above pic). What the hek, 140 Mile round trip...
I had fish taco's, they were vary good. The Cheese cake was, ah, eatable...

princess
06-15-2008, 05:14 PM
We got there a few minutes before 3....stood outside for a while. I had on a tiara, so I figured any DA people would know me. At about 3:20 we checked in to get a table. No one knew about any Accord people. :dunno: It took another 15 minutes to be seated & we waited outside.

So we weren't seated until past 3:30.

We left at about 4:45. After taking a couple of pix out front.

Well, at least you made it...... THAT makes me feel better. I was feeling pretty neglected!!:)

Me too??? Me too...
I was on the patio, as I could not hear my self think inside, let a loan hear some one speak next to me. I got up and walk through the restruant twice. I was wearing a GM muscle car shirt (think Hawaiian, but GTO's, Camaro's, etc, instead of leafs), black background. And a Black hat.
This Cheese cake factory was in the Stone ridge mall, pleasinton...

princess
06-16-2008, 09:34 AM
I don't recall seeing the shirt you describe. :dunno:

Yes, we were at the one in Pleasanton. Loud. With a corny interior. They looked like they were aiming for a Med. style, but didn't quite make it!:lmao:

I got lots of weird looks with the tiara. My prince said he was going to tell the waiter it was my birthday. He didn't.

As in the pix. I was wearing white capris, long aqua & green babydoll top, matching green sweater & shoes.

We were seated by a girl that was as short as me!!

It's really ashame that we didn't connect!! My prince says we need DA hats!!

I just called the CCF, talk to the manager about this. She dos not understand how this could happen, same name and all. She sending me a gift card for my troubles (140 Miles round trip).
I always ware a plain black hat...

Should we try again???

post pix????:dunno:

We're down to 25 days before we leave & 19 till the wedding.... I'm not sure if there's time to squeeze it in.

We actually only have 2 weekends & those are already booked pretty heavy.

I'm glad CCF is doing their best to make it right for you since you had to travel farther than we did.

My Sked is getting tight too.

An Idea.
June 28th is Field Day. A HAM radio event. The Idea is, HAM's around the US, Can., Mex., Basically N.A. Set up HAM stations at remote locations and make contacts. Make point for on air contacts (mostly voice, and some CW (Morse code), HF, VHF, Microwave...

How douse this have any thing to do with DA? Ah, there is a killer BBQ at around 6PM. You can camp out, up their, if you like. And, BTW we get point for non HAS visitors. The event runs from Saturday morn to Sunday Afternoon.

The bad new, it is on a dirt road, 1/2 mile long, car's gonna get dusty...
