LateNites 05-08-2008, 09:19 PM Looks like they did a good job retrofitting the projectors in. Can't wait for more pics
dennisho18 05-08-2008, 10:33 PM Okay here are the output shots and i had a question. on the driver side it seems like the very edge goes upwards. is that normal? when i line up parallel to the wall it gets taller to shorter. should it all be straight? well enjoy the output.

It tilts up just a little, probably having to do with the rotation of the projector. I wouldn't worry about it. And yes, it's supposed to go down slightly.

Congrats by the way :naughty:
P.S. If you want, you could try to re-aim your headlights. Find a flat wall, flat surface. Park 25ft away. Measure the distance from the ground to middle of projectors. Go to the wall, measure that distance on the wall from the ground, mark that point with a painter tape or something. The lower side of the "Z", the left side, should be on the painter tape. Adjust driver side first as your reference, then match passenger side.
nighthawkcoupe 05-09-2008, 05:11 AM Wow those look great, how HID on a sedan should be done. Good choice with the 4300K too, you won't regret it when driving in even the slightest inclement weather.

Thanks, yea the bulb choice was an obvious cause 6000k is really bad in rain and really dont work. 4300k put no strain on the eye. And i absolutly love my new headlights. And yes RETRO FTW

Thanks a lot man, cant wait for you to get yours. We can now have an 8th Gen Sedan retro club =D. And i went driving last night and i drove towards my car and it seem to be fine. no bleeding light above cutoff so that doesn't bother other drivers. and i adjusted the driver side down just a little just in case lol.
GigaS27 05-09-2008, 06:15 AM Looks good dude. Hope they last you a long time...
dennisho18 05-09-2008, 07:07 AM Thanks dude, yea i hope it does last a long time... lol
Tuolumne 05-09-2008, 11:15 AM It is supposed to tilt up like that on the right ____/ so that it illuminates street signs.
That retrofit is amazing looking. Send some photos to Honda and tell em' that is how it should have came from the factory!!!
dennisho18 05-09-2008, 11:46 AM i know about the right side______/------ step but i mean the upclimb on the left hand side is kinda bothering me but w/e it drives perfectly at night.. my line kinda looks like this--______/-----------
dennisho18 05-09-2008, 11:50 AM BTW if anyone needs a spare set of headlights to use while they gt theirs retro'd hit me up i can assist with that.

looks great, and my right projector is just like yours, its tilted.. It drives me nutts, its already mounted so there is nothing I can do..
PS, lol --
Dont you just love when they start off how they get super bright then dim then bright again, and the turn off when they turn off immediately instead of "like a halogen" slowly turn dim off.

looks great! What kit?
Kit? It's not a kit... It's the Lexus LS430 projectors put inside the Accord headlights.... A kit would never look anywhere nearly as good....

Ice...what kind of bulbs did you use?
clewttu 05-15-2008, 07:45 AM are you asking for temperature (ie "color"?)
cuz there is only one true HID bulb, a D2S @ 4300K...the rest are knockoffs when you stray from 4300K

Yeah...I want the true blue color...ie Infinity, tsx, TL, etc
clewttu 05-15-2008, 08:08 AM well, that is 4300K...what you are seeing is not the bulb (all OEM HIDs are the same) its the reflector/projector combo creating the illusion of color
the lights are actually white
Honda.driver 05-15-2008, 08:16 AM Gotcha! I cant wait to get my retros done. I just cant seem to find any head lamps at a decent price.
