Also this was an automatic. I would imagine that a 5-speed will put out at least 5 more WHP.

Cool you brought nothing to the conversation :thmsup: . Your 6mt (which you dont have.. so why troll on an accord forum anyway?) and wrx are also slow-ish compared to more dedicated/powerful sports cars.

Thats like someone going out of their way to ask why you would even bother asking about your wrx when its just kinda slow compared to an STI.

I know its a slower family sedan.. but its all relative and I had a simple question to see if someone knew about what the powerband looked like (thanks 2006AS) so dont be a douche.

Interesting.. it looks like it made more power with hotter air with a higher pressure altitude. Seems kinda counterintuitive. Makes me wonder how a CAI is going to actually help. Nice to know with optimal conditions the 4banger can put nearly 145 to the wheels. That seems pretty high for the 166hp the engine is being rated.

Yeah, that wasn't very nice.

I asked "why the hell not" because I just wanted to see if anyone had info (not in an angry way) So his comment seemed pretty much useless and also came off as douchy to me. I guess chanke4252 is highly regarded here because he helps people so I'm sorry i called him a troll but either way, that didnt help.

"Why the hell not?" certainly sounded angry, especially if you had to later clarify that you weren't, how does someone else know you weren't angry?

One highly recommend internet etiquette is to not assume or "drop d bomb" on any forum, you never really know the background of the people you are conversing with, and just might come across worse for wear yourself.

There is an old, humours, but good saying: "When you assume, you make an a$$ out of u and me."

Chanke has a lot to offer this forum and has provided tons of helpful posts without insulting other members. I suggest you try to do the same as there is no place here for insults.

The man asked a question and instead of receiving an answer he got a smart ass comment. Now he didnt have to go and call em a "D" word but I see where he's coming from.

Now to actually provide some information we had our K24a4 dynoed with all bolt on's except ignition coils and pulse plugs on an auto and we put down 145 whp and 142 ft lbs tq.
