my license plate holder fell off a while ago and a bought a new kit but i cant figure out how to put it on, do i have to remove the whole bumper? it just seem like if i use a self tapping screw throught the hole in bumper (which looks like how it came from the factory) it will just fall off again. Please help!

Wrap some duct tape onto the screws before you thread it in, you can judge how well it will hold based on the torque you need to apply to tighten the screws.

Did you buy a generic kit or a Honda kit? I took mine off and noticed that it had special shaped screws to hold it on. The screws were pretty long and flutted at the end and were not self tapping. They apparently screw into a socket in the bumper support that you cannot see.

This is the one things about living in Florida that is awesome, only need the rear plate! You could always contact a local Honda dealer and see what they have to say or check out some of the online accessory places (i.e. Majestic Honda) to see if they could order it for you.

the front license plate holder requires two clips which slide on to the bumper, then two additional screws which screw into the clips. The can't remember what the stealership charged but it wasn't cheap..

well its been a while but i finally got pics of the parts i bought. i think im missing that main screw that somebody else was talking about, i was just wondering if anybody can confirm what im missing.
