IIRC, you could lower the windows from the remote of the 7th gen accord (summer opening feature). I also have this on my Passat, but you have to insert the key into the door. Does the 8th gen have this feature? Just curious.

Yup, press the remote unlock once, and hold the second time. Windows and moonroof open up. If you want to close them on the 8th gen, stick your key into the driverside, and just hold in the furthest lock position.

you can put the key in the lock and turn 1 way and hold and it rolls windows and sunroof down and turn the other way and hold and it will roll them back up. The remote only rolls them down with a double tap and hold of the unlock button.

uh? I don't have to stick my key in to roll down the windows. I only need to press and release the unlock button once, then press and hold the unlock button again, that will roll down the sunroof and the windows.

Haven't figured out how to roll it up with the key. Not sure if that is doable.

You cannot roll the windows up with the key fob, for safety reasons.

what safety reason?

and is there a way where i could just lock the car on the remote key and all the windows and moon roof roll up on?

That's what he's saying, you can't remotely lock down the car.

You can't cause bodily harm by accidentally opening a window. It's possible to cause bodily harm by accidentally closing a window.

I don't know if that's the safety reason but it sounds reasonable enough to me.

Not without some extra electronic gadgetry. It is not possible from the factory setup but I'm sure there are aftermarket add ons that could make this possible.
