Just got my car back from the Honda dealership.
Turned on my AC for the first time this year and voila - only blows hot air. Hooked up a guage to the H and L lines - both showed 0.00 pressure - great!!

Took the car in to dealrship around noon - had to leave it there but they promised to have it looked at, if not fixed same day. The car only has 22k miles and it's an '06 so I wasn't too happy to have AC die so quickly.

Got a call back around 4:30 - Car's done.
Turns out a rock hit a condenser and there was a hole in it, so of course, all the freon leaked out immediately.

I'm glad they took care of it under warranty since "technically", this wasn't a manufacturing / warranty issue. They just asked me to treat them nicely once I get my survey...haha..no problems here.

So far, Honda's still ok with me..can't predict road hazards.
I mainly bought a honda for service life and reliability. Before, I drove a 97 Subaru Legacy for 6 years with almost no problems.

So far, so good. Sorry for the long post :)

Glad you got it fixed under warranty. Some dealers don't do that. They make you pay for it. Now go to Home Depot and get some gutter guard and cover up that hole in the bumper!!

Don't worry, your post wasn't too long. Thanks for sharing. My 2006 has 37k miles or thereabouts and I'd be royally peeved if the AC quit working. It seems silly to me that Honda puts its AC hardware out there in front with no protection via grill. My wife's Odyssey is the same way - just one rock away from a miserable Summer. :paranoid:
