I'd like to get some better sounding tweets for my car. I'd like to find something that fits in factory door pods and possibly use factory wiring, but can also later handle an amp and JL Cleansweep. Thanks!
Which tweeters to get?dbassett74 05-29-2008, 07:47 AM I'd like to get some better sounding tweets for my car. Thanks! elp_jc 05-29-2008, 08:22 AM I wouldn't change the tweeters alone, to get 'balanced' sound. Besides, they're 'component' speakers, meaning the set consists of mid-bass, tweeter, and crossover. You'll get much better sound by changing the 'system'. And if I were you, I'd change them all (rears as well). Good luck. JC AndyCpe08 05-29-2008, 08:38 AM I changed my tweets with polk db's fit right in the factory sail with little modify. They sound little more clear than oe. ryan mcgrogan 05-29-2008, 09:09 AM I had alpine type R's in my old car and they sounded good. $250 at best buy, $130 online! | |
