Ok i want to stop the annoying beeping of the seat belt when not engaged.

I looked at the belt clip where the buckle clips into and found a hardness that goes under the seat.

Has anyone been successful at disabling this?

THANKS!

The question is: Why don't you wear your seatbelt?

There's NO REASON NOT TO.

Wear the seatbelt already...there, sermon served.

Can someone tell me what a "hardness" is? (And any obvious offcolor retorts are too obvious so don't go there.)

you can disable the beeping, but you also disable the airbag(s)
wiring harness is under the seat, i wouldn't recommend disconnecting, wear a seatbelt
