I just purchased my first "small" car yesterday, an '06 Accord sedan. I've previously driven large-engine cars like a late-90's Thunderbird and '93 Lincoln Mark VIII. Those cars were fun to drive on the highway but weren't so great in the city unless you're accelerating and used more fuel than was reasonable, even when gas wasn't $4/gal.

I've been lurking for a few days but have a few questions if anyone is interested in helping:

1) I purchased the car from a private owner. He had the original manual, etc. but had to find them as he just moved. While I wait for them to be FedExed, is there a digital (PDF?) version available online?

2) Related to #1: the dash has a trip counter (in fact, an A and B trip counter) but no obvious method of resetting it. I'm anxious to calculate MPG and see how much I'm saving as compared to the greedy V8 I'm used to!

Welcome! In response to your queries:

1) Yes. You can find a digital copy of the owner's manual here: https://techinfo.honda.com/rjanisis/logon.asp On the left side of the screen there's a link under Free Resources for the owner's manuals.

2) Press and hold the button for the trip meter to reset it. Only takes a few seconds. You'll have to reset the A and B trip meters separately.

Have fun!
