Ok i'm not hear to start a "Internet fight" or anything but people really need to get a life.

This kind of action tends to piss off users (Speaking for myself and i'm sure there is plenty or others either that are still here or have left already). If you guys can't be friendly enough when a question is asked than maybe just keep your mouth closed cause your no help to this forum. BTW Forums are suppose to me informative information not opinions even though their welcome and definitely not what others want you to do.

My complaint is this:

In the 08 Accord forum i asked a simple question about seat belts, not one F-ing person answer it and everyone automatically told me what to do (out of 6 posts, 2 were BS comments/orders, 1 was a helpful tip, and 2 were just random comments which i have no problem with). You want to know something, if i wanted to take orders from people i wouldn't have asked the damn question. I understand some of you stated seat belts save lives, but sorry to say they don't hurt anyone's either. It's fine if you wanted to comment about it but don't fill a thread telling the user what he should do and not expect to get a bitch smack back in the face. What happen to free will? Seat belts back in the day and now in my eyes should still be a person's option weather they want thru life saved or not. I'm not going to give my reasons for not wanting to wear one but i do have my reasons so NO THANK YOU for telling me to put it on.

This should be CLOSED as well because i just wanted to put this out there and don't feel like hearing anything further.

What you have to understand is that by allowing this conversation to continue there could be legal repercussions for Drive Accord. If you want to remove safety features on your vehicle this is not the place to discuss it and the moderators at Drive Accord will not allow threads that are discussing disabling safety features to remain open.

^yup.

Get a life huh? That's awful nice of you.

BTW...this is America....and in a car accident, there's a good chance you will be sent to hospital if you have insurance or not (I'm sure you do since you own a new 8th gen). In saying that, if you don't wear a seatbelt, there's a good chance you will have some damage done to you.

So, in America, everyone is sent to the hospital and those w/o insurance and who cannot pay are covered by the rest of us tax payers. That makes it our business as I really would rather not pay for people who don't have insurance.

It is fiscally responsible for our country to mandate seat belts. Lives are not the issue as much as paying for unecessary health care costs.

Forum will not be responsible for proliferating information on how to disable the saftey features of the vehicle.

If you don't like it here, I encourage you to leave.

Jermy, I totaly understand your point, and did not realize this. As for this great information you provided, i would have dropped the subject right away.

Thanks

I'm not going to start anything, and i can see where your getting at, but a simple seat belt won't stop people looking to sue from saying parts of their bodies hurt just to make money. IDK about other parts of the states but i live in Jersey and 80% of the people around here will sue any chance they have (And no i am not one of them).

I can understand your last statement as i just mentioned before, if i knew this i would have never posted. What i don't enjoy is people making remarks that will aggravate members for saying dumb things that have nothing to do with their question or giving commands that we should listen to them. Sorry but i ain't taking no crap from any bully or someone that thinks his opinions should be enforced.

Yeah....we have an influx of people who have been very rude to other members in the 8th gen forum.

We are working on helping out with the rude and off topic posts destroying people's threads with honest questions.

I would appreciate that.
