I wanted the Belize Blue EX-L Coupe with black leather, it took my dealer about a week to find one.

Put money on a PMM Coupe EX-L V6 6M the second week of March...

Car was on the assembly line last week....so god willing I should have it in a couple weeks! The 3 month wait is killing me!

You'll be fine. The auto's are a LOT easier to find. The damn manual is what threw a wrench in the works.

Locating the car should only take a few minutes. The dealer should be able to tell right away if there's one within a given radius. If its at another dealer, it could take a few days to a week to get it in and prep it. If you have to order it, it could take any where from a few weeks to a few months depending where the assembly line is in the build cycle. I think they're scheduled to be built by color.

I emailed about a dozen dealers until I found one who was willing to actually look for the exact car I wanted.. after half of the dealers told me the car didnt exist in the entire state of california, one was found just 1.5 hours away and was brought to the dealer who was actually working to find me the exact one I wanted.

Walked in to my local dealer, told him what I was looking for. He took me into the Sales Manager's office got on the computer and told me he could have it on the lot in a few hours. This was back in November. Everything is computerized, he shouldn't take longer than an hour to tell you how long before he can have a car for you if he really wants to sell one.

My dealer said that PMM EX-L V6 with black interior that I requested is very difficult to find.

I did my own research and look at 15 Honda dealers around me, none of them currently has that car in their inventory..:thumbsdow

EX coupe, manual transmission, black on black. Took a week. They had a metallic one on the lot, but the black was so worth the wait. Beautiful.

That's the exact specifications I was looking for at first, but they couldn't find any LX's with a manual transmission, so the salesman gave us a good deal on an EX trim.
