I don't know why you can't do this with accesory foglights.... but that's what they say!!

I ran into this when I bought my 05.

You can only add one accessory so its EITHER the fog lights or the temp sensor. They conflict (either it was the mounting bracket or the available wire plug)

IF you have the temp sensor installed at the factory (like on my EX) then they can put the fog lights on as well.

I heard it's wiring & if one were to be good at the splicing & finding it CAN be done.... I just wouldn't know where to find any directions for that.

There's only one connector, as I understand it & you'd have to eithere change to a more pin one, or figure out where to go into it to work with the same amount of pins....

Haven't done it here.....:dunno:

Strange, I just bought 2004 Accord EXV6 Sedan and it has temp sensor as well as factory installed fog lights. How could that be?

I also ran across this with my 03'. IF the accessory is installed by factory, it has it's own seperate wiring. However, if neither item is pre-installed by factory, it only gives you the option of installing one or the other. Both the light kit and the temp sensor kit comes with two wire harnesses. One connects under the hood and the other connects inside the cab of the car. There is a wire harness pre-installed in the car which passes through the firewall and you connect to it on each side with those two harnesses. Since there is only one bypass wire harness through the firewall, you can only use one of these accessories. Also, the inside wire harness that comes with each kit also plugs in the same location on the fuse box. Like I said, IF you have one of these already installed by factory, then adding the other afterwards is not a problem. If both of them are installed by factory, then they also have their own wiring. Trying to add them both afterwards will be a problem. If you really know what you are doing, I'm sure you can run additional wires through the firewall to the second accessory and new wires to the fuse box. This I'm sure would not be easy and you have to know what all wires in the kit do exactly.
