I found a couple different ones at www.nopi.com
They are AEM, which is a pretty good manufacturer. You could try some other websites that sell AEM and try to find it cheaper. You can also try www.hondapitstop.com and ask them if they can get you one too. The guy's name is Bruce Moody, and I think they are having a sale on AEM during this month. Here's his e-mail also sales@hondapitstop.com

well being a relatively new car it will take awhile but they're will be many intakes and other mods available, just hafta be patient.

several intakes are available that I've seen online. but i'd stick with AEM seeing as how they're the only ones I see that are CARB pending or exempt. lol well I guess that only matters if yer in California, so if not nevermind. but AEM makes good power and the design seems good. they have a cold air one out now but myself I'll wait for the more expensive V2 style.

check out www.nopi.com and www.modacar.com

AEM has dynos of their CAI and V2 on their website I think. They make awesome gains on the 7th gen IIRC. The exhaust should also make a good difference. I have one guy at my school though, he put an exhaust on his 2.4 LX and it sounds like crap, so be advised :) Generally, Apex'i, gReddy, Borla, and HKS are pretty reputable companies to look for exhaust. AEM is the standard to beat in the CAI and SR industry, sort of like BMW.

i was thinking about the espeilr system.. its sounds really nice on my friends 240... but then i cant find any prices for it anywhere... its all TBA everywhere... _ _;; so i think imma go for the evo2. and for the intake... you think the aem system would be better then the injen??

They're all pretty much the same if you're comparing CAI's and SR's. The V2 from AEM should produce more power, probably not noticeably more, but also costs considerably more. Whichever one you pick will serve you well. They're small companies that are constantly developing and improving. I heard that earlier AEM intakes for the 6th gen has brackets that broke but I think the issue was resolved.

Don't forget to get your CPU remapped or replaced after an exhaust and intake upgrade. If you add more air, you need to add more fuel to keep the mixture right. It will also tune to compensate for lower backpressure from your exhaust. You spend big bucks so you might as well go the last step to fully realize your gains!

I was wondering if that needed to be done, and how would you go about doing it?

I have added a CAI and I didnt notice much difference in performance, just sound. Would love to see if re-mapping the cpu would change that.

You can fudge dyno readings... I have read several post on another site where people have installed CAI's and had dyno run made with minimal gains less than 5hp !!
If you want a race car then buy a race car!!(rear wheel drive)!!
Just my opinion.:)

I1:)

P.S. I would like to see if you had a warranty issue if Honda would stand behind if CPU has been remapped???

There's no real way to remap your CPU. Go find a chip for your car and it's really easy to figure out what it does. If you're at half throttle, the chip just gives you the fuel map that the computer has preset for full throttle. Therefore you waste more gas with no real effect except to void your warranty.

Yes CAI's will allow different cars to gain different amounts of HP. Honda V6's and the new K20/K24's gain a lot, while the old F22/F23 and the B18C5 gain nothing and may even lose a bit.

go with AEM CAI, maybe V2 possibly, but be careful with V2 because V2 does not use the Bypass Valve, water might get into your engine, in a rainy or wet day. Espelir JGT500 exhaust system, sounds nice, EVO 2 also nice, huge canister though.
