If that's a recent picture, I'm sure there's a bunch of people that are dealing with snow that are jealous about your "shorts weather" !!

:D

Always nice to see a happy owner!!

The pic was taken about two weeks ago, today being 1/26/05. The last time I drove in snow, HMMM?, was in the 60's when I was in the USN aboard a ship home based at Quonset Point R.I.!!
I had never seen snow until that time. I saw enough for my lifetime, thank you.

I forgot! I lived in north Alabama for a number of years dealing with snow & ice, thank God for 4 wheel drive. It was nothing like the Great White North, eh, but enough for me to move back south.

lol!! i had enough driving in it last week (took me 2 hours 45 minutes to get to work one day! it's normally a 40 minute drive!).... so far this week the roads have been in much better shape, except my neighborhood! but i'm sure it won't be the last time this winter! driving in snow is a fact of life around here!

I'd rather be hot than cold.....

When hot I'm more busy. When I'm freezing I shut down.

TX is stickier though.....

when it gets cold, you can put on more clothes......can't do that when it's hot.... ;)

but, if there is a water shortage, the car has been washed already, your hubby is mowing the yard, and you have no pool, then what???? :D :D :D

Even during droughts I've still been able to wash the car.... I'll let plants die first! Actually I wash on the lawn, so it gets watered when I wash. The car always wants attention, it's dark....

Hubby NEVER mows the yards! He mowed over some plants once & has never lived it down!

:D

OK, maybe he has rarely been allowed to. But it's VERY rare!! But there's things to trim, pots to water, patio to hose off.... I always get wet when doing pretty much anything in the yard! I seem to wear whatever I'm doing... I get messy when chasing down tools for him, it's something that I've been teased about forever....

No pool..... there's always the tub! I have a picture when I was 14 sitting in a full wheel barrow with a garden hose... it was 117 that day!!!

Summer is still best!!!

i prefer cold over hot too, for all the reasons above. but i don't like the extreme cold like we've had a few days of recently.

i prefer to be able to bundle up to warm up because you can always add more clothes as needed or cozy up under a blanket.

but in hot. humid, nasty weather, you can only take so many articles of clothes off before you get fired at work! ;)

I'd rather ski tube behind a boat, than snow tube..... too much work getting UP the Mt.!!:D

yeah, but snow is softer than water if you hit it at speed..... :)

princess

No way! People rarely get hurt behind a boat, look at how many break something in the snow!

I got the Prince at a good speed once & he nearly passed up the boat on a spin! It was cool!!! Even the babies in the family have been on the ski tube. They love it!

Tubing is done at 20 mph or less. Skiing is 20 & above on 2, 25 & above on one. No skis (barefoot) is done faster.... I've never done that! I've skied at 35 & went down hard, but it just knocked the wind out of me for a second. No biggie! You just can't use O'Brien or the old Maharajah (sp?) they'll come up & ping you in the head!!!:D More devestating for some than others!!;)
