here it is, a precut film kit. they don't cut out the reverse light, but how hard can that be to do on your own?

Now that is a cop magnet if that's what you are looking for!

Regular window tint is nearly as bad (in most places) because so many cars have tint. Most cops dont think twice about it. I have 5% on my rear and I have been followed by a dozen cops or so with no pull-overs. Legal tint is 35% in MD which is very easy to see a difference.

Don't pay that much! I bought mine from a guy on ebay for my 07. His name is 04mach-1 and I payed half of that, if that! I am not sure if he sells them for the 08, but I bet if you emailed him, he would be able to cut them. I am assuming he uses a computer program that he could load the design into it.

I love them, I opted for light smoke, cuz I don't want it to be blatantly BLACK! :) Cutting the reverse light is gonna be less than fun. I would just put them on, swap the reverse lights for some super bright LED's and call it a day.

Here is a few pics of my 07 for reference:

looks good on ur 7g, i'll have to check that out. those prices are steep on that site. i think cutting out wouldnt be terribly difficult, use an exacto and stay by the edge is probably how its done.

I personally did not install them. I had the guy who tinted my windows do it for me. From what he told me, they are not the easiest thing to install, but then again he did not read the isntructions where it tells you to warm them up so they stretch a little. they are thick compared to window tint...

Thats a little pricey, but looks good though. I have An 08 sedan and bought the tail lights gunmetal(which permits more light) They had charcoal and smoked which were darker. The site is lamin-x.com. I think I payed liked $50 for the taillights and they have the tint for the headlights and foglights.

I have a white coupe, and I find them absolutely disgusting. It makes it look like a toy car IMO. and not worth 79 bux in the end.

And if you do want to cut it out, you might end up cracking the :armor" plastic.

I think you are thinking about the cheap headlight/taillight covers that kids put on their mustangs, etc. The 'armor' he is talking about is a film. You can't crack film with a razor blade... Read the entire post/thread before commenting, My FILMS cost me half as much as the 'armor' things he is looking at, and don't look bad because it just tinted the factory lens. No ugly cover protruding out.

Also, just playing with you, but check the grammar on your first sentence. You are basically saying you find white coupes absolutely disgusting. :)

So it's like tint you mean? I read the website and that's the conclusion I drew from it. And yes, I really did think that it was like those cheap things they put on mustangs (and especially dodge neons). Haha, and true, i should probably have clarified what I found disgusting.

So how do you apply these? Is it clip-on or stick on, or what is it? It looked kinda bulky too.

The stuff I put on was like thick window tint. It sticks on. I have not had an edge or corner peel on me yet. I just exhibit care when washing the car not to go nuts on the edges of the tail lights. The stuff he is is talking about is even thicker (according to their site) they say they "are precision manufactured, are made of tough impact resistant automotive grade high performance translucent softened PVC vinyl film with an adhesive backing, that you can apply to your lights"
