i am picking up a brand new ex-l v6 accord within the week. i have to take out my system in my truck and im curious what i should use with factory head unit and what i should sell? i dont want to replace the head unit because i love the clean look of the interior. but does it have an amp output? ive got an alpine amp that i would love to use to power the speakers. how good is the premium system speakers? im no audiophile, but i like quality stuff. is there somewhere that i can see the specs on the system. i cant find it on the honda site. thanks.

The stock headunit can be used with aftermaket amps via LOCs but most people will suggest you invest in a sound processor. You really don't need the fanciest one. Browse through this section of DA (audio section). You'll find plenty of information on upgrading your audio. Also, don't forget to utilize the search function. You'll find that your questions are quite common and have been answered in the past.
