View Full Version : 08 Coupe on My Credit Card dking99 06-18-2008, 03:13 PM I wish I didn't have to blur out the card info...it really looks sharp in person! Osiris_x11 06-18-2008, 03:16 PM It would've been ironic if you had used your Capital One VISA card to make the deposit or down-payment for the '08 Accord coupe! :D KunalPatel87 06-18-2008, 03:20 PM That's pretty cool. I like it. Kupo 06-18-2008, 03:42 PM capital one is fail though, but nice card :) RTexasF 06-18-2008, 04:04 PM capital one is fail though What does that mean? Kupo 06-18-2008, 04:12 PM They are notorious for having horrible service, tack on fee's at random times, or when trying to cancel your card, always shows as no balance on your credit report, just overall bad service :(, i went with them as my first CC because no one else would accept me, then later found out it diddnt to jack to my score chanke4252 06-18-2008, 04:17 PM Yarrrg, what's in your wallet? jang859 06-18-2008, 05:01 PM haha, I thought you meant you bought the car on your credit card.. I put about 800 of my down payment on my credit card <_< 421 06-18-2008, 05:03 PM that's badass. I want my avatar on my CC but they won't let me :thumbsdow Mase764 06-18-2008, 05:43 PM They are notorious for having horrible service, tack on fee's at random times, or when trying to cancel your card, always shows as no balance on your credit report, just overall bad service :(, i went with them as my first CC because no one else would accept me, then later found out it diddnt to jack to my score Yupppppp I dropped them like a couple months ago because all of these stated reasons.. desktopgold 06-18-2008, 07:17 PM i had a card for about 1 day . i read some of the about 5,000 negative reviews and canceled my card before it Evan arrived with the 1 grand limit . it shows on my credit as a canceled card . i didn't care i wanted it canceled. they don't report a credit limit to the credit burro so all your balance is working against you kirkelli 06-18-2008, 07:19 PM hey!!! I just used photo shop pro and un-blured your blur... now i can read your cc number.. hee heee heeeee:banana::banana::banana::wave: elp_jc 06-18-2008, 07:58 PM I also thought you bought the car with the C/C. I always try to pay my new cars that way (because I always pay them off each month), but dealers always want to charge their fee, so end up writing a check. Your C/C is 'kewl', by the way. Later. JC tbowie 06-18-2008, 10:24 PM hey!!! I just used photo shop pro and un-blured your blur... now i can read your cc number.. hee heee heeeee:banana::banana::banana::wave: :lmao: dking99 06-19-2008, 03:53 AM It would've been ironic if you had used your Capital One VISA card to make the deposit or down-payment for the '08 Accord coupe! :D I tried to put $5K down on the car, but the dealer had a $2K limit...so I did put down $2K. I just purchsed the Nikon D3 ($5k) and the Fuc|<ing Capital One people held my order and sent it to the Fraud Department...I have a wedding to shoot on Saturday and now probably wont have the camera by then! I called them yesterday and the guy I spoke to was like speaking to a brick wall. If I asked for a coke, he would have said, "you want a snickers?" It was so frusterating. Once that is paid off, I may just keep the card and then cancel my account. Mase764 06-19-2008, 04:01 AM i too was thinking to put 10 grand down on my credit card but iwas like ehhh dking99 06-19-2008, 04:24 AM i too was thinking to put 10 grand down on my credit card but iwas like ehhh It make sense if you interest rate is lower on the card that what you would be getting from the dealer AND that you pay the $10,000 off before that rate goes up on the card. My Civic had just been totaled and I had 9K coming to me. I made the desicion to put $5k down, so I was just paying with credit card, collecting a crapload of rewards points, and then paying it off immediatly. Mase764 06-19-2008, 04:27 AM yea i dont like to leave un paid money on my credit card account.. that is why i have a 790 credit score.. for a 21 year old.. MSchu 06-19-2008, 04:53 AM Thats fairly easy to do at an early age... it's after you have been in the credit market for a many moons that we should take a look at your credit score justeddie 06-19-2008, 05:36 AM It's not all score... you need a nice chunk of credit history. For me, I had a great score until it was time to pay off them student loans... then my score took a dip (more debt than I could "afford"). Mase764 06-19-2008, 07:01 AM yea well i pay for school.. pay for my car.. pay for mostly all my things.. excpet i live at home.. thats all BinaryRock 06-19-2008, 07:01 AM Thats fairly easy to do at an early age... A lot of people screw it up in college. The card companies come to campus, entice students w/freebies, and then sign up a bunch of people. It becomes very easy to rack up credit card debt while still in school. JamieJam1AIM 06-19-2008, 07:45 AM I screwed my dealer up and over..lol I think.. lol I just put the whold damn car on american express... LOL I loved the look on their face.. they said we cant do it.. I told them the Dealer up the road said they would and had the car, and had a quote on the price, so they did it.. LOL they got popped with about 700+ in processing fees... LOL Not my problem! funny to see a 27000.00 american express bill come in the mail... lol :)All of a sudden next month I got an offer from Amex to bump to the platinum card..LOL! peazs 06-19-2008, 09:50 AM ^ did your AMEX have any reward points? if so, even better! but doesn't your AMEX have a credit limit on how much you can rack up on there or is your unlimited? Jakerx 06-19-2008, 11:14 AM ^ did your AMEX have any reward points? if so, even better! but doesn't your AMEX have a credit limit on how much you can rack up on there or is your unlimited?Your typical AMEX cards are charge cards. They all have "limits," based on your spending habits, previous purchases, account standing, etc. etc. For extremely large purchases that are out of the ordinary, all one has to do is call them ahead of time and let them to know to expect a large purchase. piranhaleg 06-19-2008, 04:14 PM I want one! |
