arasheht 06-19-2008, 12:45 PM red with a body kit! Sexy.
MSchu 06-19-2008, 12:47 PM Yuck... it's terrible. Bad Choice!!!
MSchu 06-19-2008, 12:50 PM Oh wait... I have a red one to. GOOD BUY! :-P
saersxlr8 06-19-2008, 12:52 PM Yuck... it's terrible. Bad Choice!!!
haha only because you have one too right??? haha
Nice car. :thmsup:Red was my first choice. Sometimes I wish I had gotten it. But the Blue is still so sexy.
EDIT: Oh wait... I have a red one to. GOOD BUY! :-P
(nevermind)
MSchu 06-19-2008, 12:55 PM LOL... Sorry
Brenzo 06-19-2008, 01:00 PM Thanks folks, my first choice was the Blue saersxlr8 but they could only get the V6 with the Ivory interior or I would have had to waited for a few months. No offense if you have the ivory interior but I think it looks like baby s&%t. Really happy with the red now that I have it. I never thought I would do it but I'm now considering putting red leds under this car. Too Tacky? What does everybody think?
clewttu 06-19-2008, 01:20 PM ground accent lighting....el camino, maybe....accord coupe, no way
Brenzo 06-19-2008, 01:49 PM El Camino, is a little harsh don't ya think. It's not like I wanna paint the thing bright purple with heavy gold metal flake, or maybe some of those tasle lookin things around the windows. Might look sweet :)
clewttu 06-19-2008, 01:50 PM haha, i just think it looks trashy on a nice car...maybe if you want to be an extra in fast and the furious 4
Brenzo 06-19-2008, 01:57 PM An extra, I'll be the star, bring on the cheesy decals, and crappy NOS system and I'm ready to go.
bruceleroy 06-19-2008, 02:39 PM Hot
tnel2005 06-19-2008, 02:45 PM how low is the hfp suspension...what do you think about it and how much was it?
Osiris_x11 06-19-2008, 02:47 PM Yes... a really hot red '08 Accord coupe!
No... red LEDs anywhere on such a car evoke 'amateur eBay boy-racer' vibe.
Only other recommendation I can give... perhaps a subtle/sublime carbon-fiber splitter up front under the HFP front-bumper/valance and a low-key carbon-fiber diffuser under the HFP rear-apron/skirt. Small doses of real carbon-fiber look quite good on red Honda/Acura coupes that already have black-trim here-&-there!
morcheez 06-19-2008, 02:59 PM tenzos smenzos ...keep the stockers...i wish i had them on my car...but im stuck with the crappy 17's ...and more pics please :D
Brenzo 06-19-2008, 03:04 PM Thanks Guys, HFP Suspension lowers can 1" ,but as my girlfriend says 1" can make a big difference, The steering feels a lot sportier too. To quote a cheesy 90's movie, "She corners like she's on rails" It costs about $600 without labor. I'll think twice about the LED's but the trailer park in me wants them bad :)
saersxlr8 06-19-2008, 03:14 PM Thanks folks, my first choice was the Blue saersxlr8 but they could only get the V6 with the Ivory interior or I would have had to waited for a few months. I have black leather but wouldn't mind the ivory. I've had black leather the last 4 cars I've owned and sometimes I ride with other people with the ivory/tan interior and it looks classy to me.
Also, RED LED NO
piranhaleg 06-19-2008, 03:47 PM hey can u post some side and back shots too. Im thinking of buying the body kit. thanks
Brenzo 06-19-2008, 03:48 PM ya I'll post more pics tomorrow
turbodave 06-19-2008, 04:10 PM First thing you might want to consider is to get those fog light brows painted to match the body. PLEASE
jang859 06-19-2008, 04:46 PM El Camino, is a little harsh don't ya think. It's not like I wanna paint the thing bright purple with heavy gold metal flake, or maybe some of those tasle lookin things around the windows. Might look sweet :)
just my personal opinion, but strangely enough that is exactly the kind of car I imagine ground lighting on, a bright purple with heavy gold metal flake el camino, truck, or old cavalier.
Brenzo 06-19-2008, 04:53 PM First thing you might want to consider is to get those fog light brows painted to match the body. PLEASE
That's how they come in the HFP body kit, I think the black accents the red nicely.
Osiris_x11 06-19-2008, 05:04 PM That's how they come in the HFP body kit, I think the black accents the red nicely.I concur, I like the two-tone look of red & matte-black!
Mase764 06-19-2008, 07:01 PM i too want the kit.. i cant find it online.. or i wait till mugen. kit
Looks Good nice choice.!
usmcpark 06-19-2008, 07:16 PM wow! a red one! Thats pretty nice, I think this is the first red one I have seen as far as owner pictures are concerned. It looks really nice there. :)

As another 'San Marino Red' owner, it doesn't look that red in the flesh; it's much more subdued, more of a burnt red. Just in case somebody is thinking of ordering one blindly. Let me finish by saying the tone of red couldn't go any better on this car. But if you want Ferrari red, like the picture implies, you'd be disappointed. Later gang.

i think painted areas that are supposed to be black/matte black makes it look like a cheap and lazy body shop that didn't wanna take the time to tape off the area before painting... they did that to my brothers civic when get got in a wreck. the grill was supposed to be black but he got his car back with everything red... yuck... leave it as it is.

that is directly opposite of the comments I get, everyone that see mine and makes a comment is that the San Marino Red is PIERCING. extremely vibrant deep red, I agree with them.
it's simular to my GSR red which they called Milano Red in 1992, I love it.

Brenzo 06-20-2008, 04:51 AM If I had to describe it I'd say it's a fire engine red with a drop or two of black, pretty darn bright. Definately would not call it subdued
dking99 06-20-2008, 06:08 AM Post an image from the side if you dont mind...I have the HFP body kit and just got my Eibachs in (1 - 1.3" drop) and am curious how the HFP suspension looks.
Man, you do have a nice car!
turbodave 06-20-2008, 07:09 AM Color kind of reminds me of Porsche "guards red"
Osiris_x11 06-20-2008, 08:07 AM I'd be curious to see all of Honda's/Acura's different red colored vehicles over the years, side-by-side!
