Need to know if new component speakers would sound better w/ stock h/u with the tweeter mounted by the top door handle or just up grade the door speaker ?


componets would defiantely improve your sound quality. If you install a componet tweeter in your factory tweeter location, make sure you reverse politartly on the connections at the tweeter. Since treeters should be mounted as close as possible to theh mid, reversing the politiarty offsets the sound stage between your mid and the tweeter. You only do this when you have a large seperation between the mid and the tweeter. You may also want to consider a JL Clean Sweep system. If you have limited knowledge on car audio systems, you should consult with a car audio shop or somone that knows what they are doing. Also pencil down what you want to do, and cost out.. figure out what your budget is. Try to as much improvement you can afford, and you'll be a happy camper.....:nuts:
