For the last few days I have been thinking of ways to input vga video signals into the factory navi screen. I dont want to use a nav-tv because composite video signals makes text unreadable. During my research I came across a Acura TL project where someone feed vga to scan do 800 which converted the signals to RGB just like the factory navi signals. I wonder if anyone has attempted this with the accord navi screen? Even then rgb singals are still subpar and not great like vga. As I keep reading on I found a way to convert rgb signals to composite video. I have a lilput 7 inch touch screen i can replace the factory navi screen with. This way i can retain ok quality with the factory navi and have awesome video for my carpc via vga.
Any thoughts on this?

6 X 8 no problem the screen is 8 inch so it works fine! remember the damn thing isnt a laptop so naturally is gonna be small the navi screen also isnt HD is the contrast ratio is much lower as well but it does work without a prob..
ive seen the g-net i think its called converter.. 250 ish. it converts pal ntsc (sp) to rgb i think ...thats all that ive found..... i was thinking of using the stock screen to a built in pc or somthing and relooping the navi feed back into the pc if possible and have a window with the navi display..just click the window and it opens the factory nav screen..just a thought.. im gald someone made this thread....

Without hooking anything up, will the dvd player for the nav play a movie dvd?
