Today I washed Tink.... dusted & cleaned her inside.... She's all happy.

Then I went out to run errands in a clean, shiny car....

ahhhhh.....

it felt so good...

driving in the warmth of the sun.

Then as I came out of the last place....

a bird.....

(nope, not what you think)

TERDED

ON ME!!!!!!

A splat! On my shoulder & arm.....I was thankful that I still am wearing long sleeves.... it's not THAT warm. only nearly 60.... but we haven't seen the sun here in about a month.

YEAH!!

Seagulls! I hate them!!! Luckily it was easier to pull off the sweat shirt than to rewash the car... so in way it's not so bad...

This sunshine is bound to make my Spring Fever hit early though....:)

Even on your shoulder???

I know many are freezing their butts off & I'm not making light of it. No matter what the weather is like, if it's colder than you're used to, it's COLD!

Which is why I was so happy to see the sun! We've had about a month of the highs being in the 40's & foggy all day. So today was a special treat! I'm so anxious for Spring! Well, mostly. Those dogs have created a lot of work to be undone & they're still going to be here. So I'll be battling the hot weather & trying to get the yard back together!

I did buy some grass seed today. I figure if I keep putting down a layer every week, I'll have a lawn again! The dogs have stomped & scratched it down to mud.... My once pretty yard is icky now!

My buddy in Ark. said they were 70 today! That sounds good!:)

You got that right.

Unfortunately I don't really have a choice and was on my way back to the hospital at about 12:30 (after being in earlier already). I have a 30 mile drive, on interstate.

Anyhoo,

I was coming up on a pack of 5 or 6 cars, with the snow/sleet coming down heavy now. This later model Mustang decides move into the left lane to pull around the other cars. He must have let off the throttle a bit, and suddenly was in a increasing-amplitude slow-motion fishtail. Finally goes between 2 cars, and off the right side, then back across both lanes, now right in front of me.

It was almost comical how slow it happened. No, nobody hurt.

Oh, I had my Blizzaks on. They rock! And chalk up another one for FWD.
