View Full Version : Do our cars have a "taillight bulb out" warning? zetaroy 07-19-2008, 07:30 PM I think if one of our turn signal bulbs burns out, the working turn signal blinks faster informing the driver that a bulb is burned out. Is there something that warns the driver when a taillight bulb burns out? I remember my Acura Legend had a warning light when a brake bulb went out. Thanks. Owner's manual (p.57) had no mention about it. I know the "Brake Lamp" light is under the trunk of the animated car on previous Accords but I don't see it in mine. For 2003+ the answer is "no" josh52382 07-23-2008, 02:23 PM Well when I was putting my stereo system in my car I blew the fuse for the horn/brake lights and my VSA warning light would come on. As soon as I replaced the fuse it stopped coming on. Bowzer 07-23-2008, 02:29 PM The light's not out. I left it in there. Brake and turn signal...does that mean they're still working? Roy I don't know if the newer Accords have it, but my Dad's 1st generation Accord had it, and that was in 1981 :lmao: |
