Well, the stock air filter seems to be still doing it right. The car's performance is more uniform now instead of good-bad.

It was needing gas, just a little below half, and as always, it had extra zip at that level. I put it in, started up, and it drove like before it got gas. But the next stop, then started back out, it seemed to have back down to average pep, minus the extra zip it had. This could vary from time to time I know, but sometimes I wonder if there is some kind of sensor in the fuel tank connected to the engine to tell it how to operate at a certain level of fuel? Sounds crazy, but when you have a moody car, you think of everything!:paranoid:

If you're at half, and the Accord's tank is over 16 gallons, technically you put 8 gallons of fuel in and that's a bit of weight.

You might just be so super sensitive that you notice it.

It doesn't take super sensitivity to notice the differences in this thing!

But that is true about the added fuel weight. I have had cars, however, that would perform the same low or full. That says a lot about (against) Hondas, or this particular model at least.

With the price of liquid gold now, it didn't really fill it--just brought it up near the white line, so it doesn't really have a full tank. I wasn't paying more than the $29.00 I made my check for!
