I have been looking around all sites & stores that sells microfiber towels & I am totally confused. Does it really matter which color you get for certain applications like waxing, buffing & drying?

I1, maybe you can enlighted us.

That's a good ?
From what I have read some others say that the darker the color the stiffer the fiber will be from the dye. Now from what I have used it all depends on the fiber. I have drk green, grey, med blue, light blue, yellow and yellowish orange. The fibers of different towels works better for different processes.
For example..
A real short tight knap is better for glass , a longer knap is better for QD. Middle of the road for polymer removal and carnuba.
Now if your talking about drying then a Waffle weave is the way to go.
The best thing I could recommend is buy an assortment and use for different applications and find what works the best for your process.

Here's another place I just found tonight while searching around..

Hope this helps!

Thanks for the info! I'm definately going to order the weave type & try the other towels for buffing & polish to see which one works best for my applications.:)
