The one and only ding..right on the edge where it's so expensive to fix that I think I'll just learn to live with it.

Very nice! I have been seeing some KILLER deals on '04+ V6 6-speeds here in the Philly area as of late.

Thanks for the responses. I got a pretty good deal on the car, but found out soon after that it needs a new clutch. I guess their 150 point inspection didn't notice. It holds just fine unless I really get on it at which point it slips a little, so I know it will last a while..I just can't wait until I have a perfect clutch again. She had to deal with the mean streets of Los Angeles, and I think that's why the clutch went. With me behind the wheel, this will be the last clutch she ever needs!

..... I just can't wait until I have a perfect clutch again.

......even with a brand new clutch - IMHO - it won't be 'perfect'....

I drive a mirror image and my clutch has been either in or out since day one.

The friction point is vague and uncertain. OTOH, it does not slip (so you do have something to look forward to.............)

I understand the Gen8 has a longer take-up and is easier to drive smoothly.

...don't get me wrong, it's a great car; the clutch - again IMHO - just don't measure up.

happy trails, ez....

It may not be perfect but it will be vastly improved! Too bad Honda didn't get the clutch perfect because the car is so nice all around. I do remember that the previous one I test drove with less mileage spun the hell out of the tires in second gear without much trouble...it's not a concern that I can't spin my tires but if this car feels like that car felt it will be 100% better. Again, just gotta save the $$ and make it happen!

This is definitely a highway car with some really fun around-town traits.
