any G2Gs in the Dallas area?
Im new to Honda enthusiast stuff but have been into hot rod, truck and muscle cars for years and like to find help and ideas on modding my new DD a little bit.

there is rice killers off of 75 in plano at bjs on monday nights.....its not a bad scene.....all cars welcome...just no rice!!! normally 100+ cars

You sold me an AEM short ram intake and then I bought a set of black Enkei wheels.
Are you still driving the Civic Si, or did you trade in for an Accord?

You sure didn't keep the Si very long. That was a nice looking car, too.
I got t-boned by a Ford Expedition and the Civic didn't survive the accident. Oh well, insurance paid off the car and I had quite a bit of money left over to put down on the new Accord... which I like much more than the Civic. What color is your new coupe?

yea i had to option of buying the civic all out or upgrading the the accord so i thought why not newer more luxurious car so i went with the accord. Is there anyone else in the dfw ?

Mine are in, install is easy, its not real pretty with the bumper off and I even pulled out the headlights but it makes the best looking install IMHO.

I'm in Plano as well, but work in Dallas. Picking up my '09 ASM Coupe from John Eagle tomorrow morning. Ordered my HID's last night from Todd, since I've already had 2 kits from him before. Nice to see there's some DFW people on here. There's a meet on Wednesday nights at Coit Rd/Park Blvd in Plano as well. I don't frequent meets much though.

haha sorry didn't see your post til just now. I've been busy with exams and everything. Just glad to finally have my whole transportation situation done with, even though I chose the worst time to do it. I'll be sure to come find you whenever I return to the dealer next for my plates. i live in denton but my parents live off midway and parker so it seems like a few of us are close! i am ordering my hfp suspension tomorrow and getting hids 6k, 3k hid fogs and a tsx switchblade key for christmas so we should all meet up or do something sometime!

I used to do meets at huffines park in richardson when me (as well as a bunch of my other friends had accords)... Then life got in the way and things started thinning out. Before you know it, everyone (including myself) was driving something other than a Honda. I used to go by a different moniker and the 8th gen accord coupe has peaked my curiousity once again so if you guys have a meet, I might drop by to check it out and see what Honda has to offer...Can you tell I hate dealers and commission sales tactics? :D

a DFW meet could be something I attend... I have family out there so it could be something I'd be interested in doing...

John, do you think there'd be any way of talking with some of the people at John Eagle to doing a small get-together there? even though i know the parking lot is well... non-existent haha.

Yep, parking is kinda tight aint it? They used to do some things with the S2000 club but they kinda messed things up cuz they would leave the shop a mess when they finished. Maybe I can get something on a night when we have our bimonthly new owners clinic, Ill ask.

oh yeah i forgot about that new owner's clinic thing haha. it'd be nice. i just have no idea where everyone would even park in the lot unless some cars were moved...

If the economy was like it was back a couple years back, I'd be cruising in my Accord in no time but eh, at least my car looks like an interesting sedan. We'll leave it at that along with almost 300hp that I need to get rid of. :)
