I have an '03 LX Accord and just recently my subwoofer blew out (Rockford punch stage 3 10") and after listening to my stock speakers im pretty pleased with their acoustic performance since they are also being driven by a Sony amp. I notice the difference in bass and vocals slightly as compared to my parents 05 accord EX stock system. Since i want to do my interior speakers custom what would be a better brand to go with: Infinity or Pioneer? I found on ikesound.com Pioneer speakers- 6x9- 460watt max(80RMS) and 6.5"- 260 watt max. As for the Infinity's, i only found ones that go as high as 300 watt max. Since I've heard Pioneer's in my friends car and am impressed how do Infinity's stack up as far as bass and highs? Is it blended together well or does one overpower the other? Thanks.

In the comparisons we found at the time we bought ours, the Infinitys sounded better. Unforunately, we all have such different tastes in tones & tunes.... it's a hard call. Sometimes even when the numbers are more impressive with one over the other, it's not what you hear in real life.
