check out ebay, theres a guy selling "kits" for differant cars. I got one for the coupe and it was $25 plus minimal shipping for the maps, dome, and license plate. The package is written in chinese but I couldn't be happier with them

Package has iJDM.com on it, seems like a decent product. Halogens, LED's, etc.

... I have an extra set of blue maps and blue license plate if anyone is interested (LED) ???

Accidentally ordered the maps before I found the set and got both. I need white license plate.

I don't know why ya'll don't use the wholesale LED-seller on ebay...(?)

They have the same exact LED bulbs that the other online vendors have, but at a much cheaper price and quite often sold in pairs. Also, if you're making multiple purchases from the same seller, you get reduced s/h.

Oh, the car-specific 'LED kits' don't have the maximum LED's in each bulb (meaning less illumination). Better to get ala'carte, IMHO.

Use the Sylvania site to get the numbers for each bulb you want to replace w/ LED, and then go on ebay & find a single seller and make a bulk purchase. I've done this 3-4 times in the past. You get the max' LED's per bulb for less money than otherwise going through the online vendors or the ebay LED car-kits. . .

Too young for ebay =)

Also, how exactly do I replace the license plate bulbs on the sedan, it doesn't look like the lens covers are removable and I'm not sure what's going on from behind, as there are 2 power wires going to the lights.

you remove the lights from behind (under?) the trunk cover. if you look closely at the license plate lights, they are clip-ons -- fairly easy to remove.

good luck!

Oops, I made a stupid mistake on my order. I stupidly thought there were courtesy lights on the back doors too, so I ordered 2 sets of LEDs for them. Oh well, they're compatible with the license plate lights too so I guess my plate will be blue now. Hope that's not illegal =P

You get reduced s/h on V-leds.com... Basically free shipping and handling with the coupon. I had really bad past experiences dealing with ebay so I didn't feel like using them this time.

I also thought there were courtesy lights in the back as well. Thankfully I checked my car the day before I ordered

I've done this many times for my tail brake and turn lamps as well as some interior bulbs. Best way to go plus you get some high-wattage good stuff :D

Not 18

I think he's confused because

1) you own a car meaning that you should be at least in your high teens
2) you ordered from V-leds.com meaning that you must own a credit card

knowing that these two qualities qualifies you to use ebay, confuses him >>:dunno:<<

Anyways, I'm glad you had a chance to use the coupon. If I'm not mistaken, you have to pry those lenses off gently through the inside

Yeah I figured out how to get the plate bulbs out, there's actually an arrow and the word "remove" on the lens covers, so all you have to do is slide them in the direction the arrow is pointing and the whole housing comes out, then you can pry off the covers and get to the bulbs.

And yeah, I'm 17 and have a credit card, I just can't register for ebay since the minimum age is 18.

Ahhhhhh I got it now :) LOL.

1. I didn't know EBAY required you to be 18 as it's been years and years that I have been registered and also in mid to late 20's.

2. The way I read it for some reason I thought it was a sarcastic smart ass comment as if he was too good to order off ebay when he could get it from V-LEDS.

All clear, I get it and I'm an idiot.
