Saw the Ridgeline yesterday...

...when I brought the Accord in for a battery.


They got a truckload of them. There was one green color that I liked pretty well - haven't seen it before.


It looks nice enough. I didn't get to look at them too closely because of the rain and also because dealership employees were all over them - in the repair bays, in the customer preparation section, etc. - I assume trying to get them ready for sale.

I was looking at a green one yesterday when I stopped by my dealer to pick up some tranny fluid.... waited at the parts counter for 5 mins only to never have anyone show..... sooo... I went and talked to my salesman and they had one on the showroom floor..... 15 feet away the Orange peel was horrendous.... Come on Honda you can do better than that.....
We talked about how when it 1st came out sales were good then dropped and are now coming back!! We also talked about S2000's .... They have had one for 60 days and did not order their 3 allotment last month.... hard sale...
New sales are down while used are up??

i still haven't seen one in person.... hopefully saturday when i take my car for the yearly inspections and emissions tests and my overdue oil change i might get to see a ridgeline. doubt i'll get to test drive one for fun though... saturday's are usually pretty darn busy for the dealership!

the dealership i go to said they usually end up shipping the s2000's to florida where they sell at a premium! in western pa, there just isn't enough of a market either!

my friends were arguing with me yesterday about the ridgeline having a v8....i told him that it doesn't have a v8; it has the v6 from the pilot......he still insisted that he saw 8 spark plug wires, so he "knew" that i was a v8..... :stupid:

personally i found the interior to be chevy quality. it was very cheap industrial grade looking plastic. and the leather looked fake. the dash design seemed out of place as well. other than that i love the truck.
