I1:) stevel 03-02-2005, 07:39 PM voted as yes. but haven't needed it this winter... portable wood look thing, can put stuff on it... not bad looking, but haven't needed it in a few years.... stiller fan 03-02-2005, 07:48 PM I LOVE GETTING ZAPPED......   :screwy: :withstupi  Inspector1 03-02-2005, 07:49 PM I use a water mist style, looks like a injector nozzle. Thermomist brand TM-2000 http://www.comforthouse.com/comfort/colwrap.html I turned on in Dec when humiditiy dropped to 20% now at 41% I1:) Inspector1 03-02-2005, 07:50 PM Originally posted by stiller fan I LOVE GETTING ZAPPED......   :screwy: :withstupi  But do you like Zappa? I1:) Dave 03-02-2005, 09:07 PM i have a cheap Walgreen's model. its a mist type. only need it during cold snaps when the heat is on constantly. keep it in the bedroom. keeps the snoring and sleep apnea from getting to bad. mrjtree 03-03-2005, 05:06 AM Got a Lasko a few years ago. It's a wick style humidifier. http://laskoproducts.com/humidifiers/model_1120.html Getting zapped isn't so bad. Think of it as an alternative to caffeine. Zappa is all right, though Bowie is preferable when desiring "off beat" lyrics. Remember "putting out fire with gasoline?" :dude: illiniguy 03-03-2005, 06:01 AM Have one on the furnace. Works pretty well. Walt43 03-03-2005, 10:19 AM Aprilaire 560 furnace installed bypass humidifier. It even has an outside temp sensor to reduce indoor humidity as the temp outside gets too cold. This prevents condensation in the house on exterior walls and windows. Now they have the new models. www.aprilaire.com anysia 03-03-2005, 11:56 AM Originally posted by stiller fan I LOVE GETTING ZAPPED......   :screwy: :withstupi  how did i know stiller was going to be the other half of the "loves getting zapped" response? in all truth i used to have a humidifer (cheapo one from walmart) that i used whenever i got sick. but so much mildew and nasty stuff grew on the filter in a matter of days that i quit using it. :( i could use a humidifer right now to help keep my throat from getting so dry and scratchy.... :bawling: BenjiBoy650 03-03-2005, 08:08 PM I liked the last option lol but opted for "What is a humidifier" because I never use one. It's pretty damp around here, mold grows behind my bed and on the windows...I don't think it needs to get any wetter lol princess 03-06-2005, 04:03 PM I think I should've read the replies before I answered! I'm now lumped with the other "love to be zapped" bunch! :paranoid: It's all a lie I tell ya..... :screwy: stiller fan 03-06-2005, 04:22 PM I think I should've read the replies before I answered! My lawns are mush.... I was lying....I hate getting zapped..... I didn't know that using a humidifier would change that. I wish they had them in stores since that's where most of my zapping occurs! :( WheelBrokerAng 03-06-2005, 07:16 PM Have two installed in my house.. One is another one of those cheap Walgreens ones and the other is a large 80 pinter that growls when it kicks in.. WheelBrokerAng |
