'86 Accord LXi

We sold this one when we bought the Pilot. She had 190K, mint interior, minor flaws outside, all stock except for the sound system. No leaks & everything worked....even the clock. I drove her for 9 years & loved every minute. We replaced all 4 injectors, the radiator, & had the transmission rebuilt when she gave the first sign of problems. The 16 year old that bought her was VERY happy!

Ahh that pic brings back memories. My dad had a 1986 Accord LX that we bought when I was about 6 or 7. He sold it when I was 15 (16 now). Replaced it with a lame Camry...and it made me realize how cool manual tranny's are. Funny when we went to buy our baby blue Accord with blue interior, my grandfather got lost following us and ended up about an hour and change south of our original location. Now my dad is still driving the Camry and I just got a 1999 Accord EX 5-speed. Still, it's not the same (yet). If that LXi was a 5-speed I would have considered buying it, since I'm in SF and you're in Antioch? Oh well, too bad. Thanks for the flashback....okay back to work :bawling:
