The Sea to SKy highway (aka highway 99) goes between Vancouver BC to Whislter. Most of it is a two lane highway now, but it is being upgraded for the 2010 Olympics. This particular pic was taken at a rest stop on our way to the Furry Creek Golf and Country Club (Happy Gilmore was filmed there). They had an awsome deal 18 holes with cart and a prime rib dinner for $65cdn.

Thought everyone might enjoy this pic of Shannon Falls too. Its another one I took on the same trip.

Anyone else have picturesque shots with their Accords they can post. Maybe we could start a new section called "Great Drives" or something along that line.

I thought that Whistler was on Vancouver Island? Is there a bridge going across? Maybe I'm just wrong, don't remember too well it has been a while hehe. The island is nice though :)

Nope, Whislter is on the Mainland. Its about a 2hr casual drive from Vancouver. There is no bridge that joins the Island to the Mainland, but I do wish there was. Whenever I drive over to the island I seem to miss the ferry by 3 or 4 cars :( . I usually fly over and rent a car. Too bad none of the rental companies rent Hondas. So when was the last time you were in BC? Maybe its time for another trip?

Last time was hmm like 5 years ago? Something like that. Left SF at 4PM, got to Seattle at 6AM next morning, stayed around for a couple days then drove up to Vancouver. Stayed for a couple days, ferry over to Victoria, one night, then back down to Port Angeles, then Portland overnight and back to SF. We missed the 9AM ferry from Victoria to Port Angeles by 2 cars because I was in the hotel room making noodles for breakfast :lmao: Had to wait for the 3PM one, which was also delayed because of a boat that caught on fire and sank :dunno:

Wish I could go back there, Vancouver is a nice place. Their Chinatown opens kinda late though...lol
