Any nice, good quality wheels on the market that aren't too expensive? Hopefully I want a set that are in OEM (or close) sized set so I can use my tires again, since tires are expensive. I was considering Rota's but I'm very concerned since I've seen them break at the spokes on a WRX. Although the WRX was autocrossing, it still concerns me. Would they break if I hit a dividing wall and bounced off? If they broke well I lost all hope of controlling the car...that's my fear.
I've been looking for some aftermarket wheels also. You might have already checked it out, but www.centerlinewheels.com has some good wheel deals (click the wheel deals link). Supposedly their forging process results in a light, but stronger than average wheel.
I was somewhat interested in the Centerline Storm wheel model, but after seeing them on a Dodge Stratus I had to reconsider. However, the guy at the tire shop said centerlines come with a 3 yr finish warranty and that centerline will even repolish curbrash at no extra charge.
