Since it's a known issue for Honda's, just wondering if anyone able to fix the rattling by the dealer. Or if you fixed it yourself, please share with us how. I'm sure a lot of members want to know too. Thanks!!

Could you be more specific??? I have/had more than ONE rattle. The dealer fixed the rear parcel shelf issue after two visits and over 3 days of down time. I haven't attempted to let them investigate the dash rattle after they said "they don't like tear the dash apart to trouble shoot a dash rattle" and the fact that it took two days to get parts. So I live with that rattle.

And the dealer said Honda isn't reporting many claims on the rear parcel shelf which will inhibit the publication of a TSB. So fixing some of these problems in your garage may in the long haul harm others since the real scope of the problem is being masked by the DIY'er.

i just got my car for 3 days, and so far i've notice the rear shelf are having rattle and the subwoofer also rattle even on some not so heavy bass songs. So im just want to know if it's worth the time to visit dealer or there's something we can do to fix/minimize the rattle.

I had that same D*MN problem!!! To be honest, I pressed down really hard on the rear shelf (toward the back on the pass. side) and heard a "click". SO, I either "snapped" something into place or I broke something. LOL

Either way, it stopped. Even with high bass songs.

Possibly lose shelf clips.
