And what a pain it was and I am quite mechanically inclined. I have removed and installed a motor in my Jeep. I have done a complete exhaust on my Tahoe. I repair equipment at work for a living but this install was a little more time consuming than I thought it was going to be.

I suggest if you tackle this yourself make sure you follow the post by XXdajackalXX and have a good friend to help and some patience.

Does it have to settle? I don't see that much of a difference.. How's the ride?

you just answered my questions...i think it makes the sedan look so much better and after it settles it will be perfect...great work

Yes, it has to settle and the ride should stay about stock still. Handling should be a little better as well.

The ride is actually quite good. I was a little concerned because I wanted the factory ride to be somewhat intact and it is fairly close to the original ride after the install.

I have not driven it alot since the install but from what little driving I have done it feels better in the turns.

It's only a one inch drop but you can really tell on the front. Look at the wheel well gap in the first picture and then look at the wheel well gap in the second picture. Repeat this procedure for the rear wheel.

I think once it settles in alil more it will look fantastic. I also have a NHB sedan with my eibachs just sitting in my garage waiting to get installed. Its driving me crazy, but I cant find a good deal on install and my brother-in-law is lazy as hell. I have the V6 sedan, do you guys think the drop will be alil lower on mine since the engine is heavier? Dexterdog, your car looks awesome, loving the deck spoiler. Where did you get it from?

If you got the springs for the V6 than your drop should be comparable. If you got springs for an I4 than your front will probably drop more than the rear giving you the hot rod look. I personally don't want it to drop much further.

I thought about paying someone to install them. I called Les Schwab and they wouldn't do it because I didn't buy the springs from them. At that point I decided to do it myself. It is scheduled for an alignment tomorrow.

I got the spoiler off of ebay from Sportwing. They aren't the cheapest or the most expensive but they advertise in Car and Driver so I felt pretty comfortable going with them.

I like your spoiler and I want to get that kind. Did you have to drill out your trunk lid? If not then I'll buy one! :D

Yea I ordered the springs for the V6. Also I just placed my order for a deck spoiler from "the spoiler company" for $110 painted and shipped. Hopefully the quality will be good. All the shops around my house want like $300 to install the springs. That just seems like to much money to me, so I'm just waiting for the right opportunity

My Accord dropped 1.5 all around. I think the V6 seem to drop more than the I4's? The springs never settled more after the initial install. Here is a before and after pics. The wheels are 19's.

Looks like the drop is less than an inch.. How do you like it so far?

It seems you added the side mouldings and the rear spoiler... Where'd u get your spoiler from?

Thanks!

The ride is decent on a mild or even road. I feel the springs more on a hard bump. I'm still waiting for the Tokico adjustable shocks to come out. I hope my OE shocks don't blow before the Tokico's come out.

No the car dropped 1.5 all around. I measured before and after I did the install. I have less than a two finger gap. The shopped shipped me the 7th gen springs the first rime around and I had the front struts off, what a waste of my time. Both parts are from a local Honda dealer.

woah, were you kidding about your OE shocks blowing out? is this a concern if you go with the pro kit?

Eventually, yes. Any kind of drop will result in shorter shock/strut life span. Depends on how you load your car and where you drive it. Oh and don't forget about the alignment... most drops around 1.25" or less can be corrected without camber kits. You'll know when you need camber kits when your tires start wearing out unevenly.
