so there's no intakes for 8th gen even though its the same motor from 7th gen? or am i wrong about that?

I think it is the engine bay layout that is giving fujita a hard time. Guess they are researching where exactly in the VAST engine bay is the optimal place to put the intake...

The 8th Gen. i4's and 7th Gen i4's don't have the same motor.

I would imagine that the SULEV CAI might work since they have the MAF adaptor although the angles are going to be off due to the engine bay and the position of the TB.
