whats going on... yea mah question is my friend swaped his 94 accord wagon to an h22 and i have done ( will be doing) the same my question is the shifter i heard he changed his shifter and it costed mad money and i was wondering is it really neccesary to change the shifter? and if so how much would it really effect my ryde and the most important question price i'm hearing its mad money. if someone can answer that that would be great thanx.... ohh my accord is a 96

By shifter if you mean transmission, then yes it is a good thing to do. Your transmission in the 96 is not made to handle the power output from the h22. If you don't install a trasmission from the h22 setup you run the risk of major transmission problems along with the lifetime if your transmission will be reduced. The performace will also be better if you swap the transmission becasue the new one would be geared to work better with the h22.
