I've read through several threads now and can't figure out what is the easiest/best way to install HIDs, through the wheel well or just take off the front bumper. I know a large part of this is opinion but which is easier to do? Easier as in less likely to damage my car, mess up the installation, finding a place to mount the ballast, etc

no matter what, you have to go through the wheel well to install the bulbs.

as for where you mount the ballast, you can either take the bumper off, or try and find space under the hood somewhere.

Taking the bumper off is the "right" thing to do, but feel free to get creative with other moutning points.

Easiest = don't take off bumper

Finding the best places to mount ballasts = take off bumper
