Last night (it was completely dark out) I had the trunk open and noticed the center brake light in the back window was on very very faintly. I closed and reopened the trunk and the brake light came back on.
Not sure if this is a feature I was unaware of or a possible bug. Just curious to see if anyone has noticed or experienced this.:dunno:

i had this with mu mustang..if the trunk is open then the third brake lightly is faintly on to let you know that its open

same thing i was going to say...my ex had a mustang and her light on the spoiler came on when the trunk was open and so does my coupe

Mine looks the same way, it's just the reflection of the sun or exterior light hitting the lens making it appear to be illuminated. :thmsup:

ya its not your brake light on... its the light from the truck shining up through the brake light and stuff...

its the interior trunk light shining up through the rear deck into the brake light lense.

it is the trunk light shinning through the third brake light. I just went out in my garage around 9:45 pm and opened the trunk. Held my hand over the trunk light and the brake light was still lite. I noticed an opening in the top portion of the trunk, just in front of the third brake light and stuck my hand up there...and sure enough, the third brake light went out.
This was never a big deal, just more of an observation. I do appreciation everone's feedback however.
