I thought I would show you it is possible to buy wheels cheap and renew them at home with a few tools; a flat file, a round file, sand paper. The forged alloys off a Porsche have seen better days. Here are some pics of the rework before the actual polishing begins.

And stock lug bolts can look awesome with just a little attention with a polishing wheel on a bench grinder and some white rouge.

Nice removal of curb-rash! And what's even more-so impressive is to do it w/o using filler-material! Kudos...

Just takes time and practice.

I just noticed your in Austin. I was up that way today. My wife was picking up some books at The Book People by 6th and Lamar, so I headed across the street to Waterloo records to pick up some vinyl.

Keep Austin Weird :beatnik:

Oh man, small world! I was in the W' 5th & 6th street areas earlier today as well. Great inexpensive places to eat/drink/etc'. Lively crowd around there after-hours, as well.

Next time you're planning to be in towne', drop me a line... we can grab a bite or beverage around the area, literally 100's of neat lil' joints to choose from!

Oh, as far as keepin' Austin weird... you know about or ever hear of "Leslie"? :naughty:

Oh Yea! the proverbial "Queen of Austin." A true force of nature, that you can't help but look.
