I had a chance to drive a 09 Sonata 4 cylinder a few days ago and let me tell you its a smooth, cushioned ride that comes close to being Camry comfortable. I had a for one day and really liked how it just handled all the crap roads in Seattle like a champ. My question is can my V6 rims handle a 60 series tires. I dont think for my next tire I can handle the stock 215/50/17 anymore.

I belive you can go with 60's. But it will be high. Not sure about te wheel well clearance, but if i were you I would go down to the tire shop and look at the actual tire you are thinking of buying and put it side by side to you stock tires to see the diference.

If you're not dropped or don't plan on lowering the car, you'll be fine. It'll look odd, but you'll be fine.

The sidewall height just goes up about 1" from 50 to 60 series tires.
