Has anyone successfully added DVD to their navi package?

I hear that you need a certain harness plus compatible dvd layer aswell to be able to watch DVD's onscreen.

NAVTV www. NAVTV.com and a dvd player plus a stereo RCA to 1/8" Y connection cable for the audio... Ive already done it... works purrrrfectly! :)

How hard was the install? Does it require removing the entire console to get it hooked up?

I am interested in doing this also, it would be pretty neat!

If visible, would you be able to post some pics on where you have your dvd player positioned and stuff?

I've done it as well to. The back panel pops off the back of the center console allowing you to drill a hole into the back to run the y adapter to the aux jack, very easy, and sound is great. You will have to cut and solder into your navigation wires for the convertor as well, so be prepared for that.
