Those are really nice. Did you buy them already or are you still thinking about it?

I am thinking about it. I have 4 days for the ebay posting unless someone uses the buy it now feature. I have heard issues with the US Spec Civic HFP wheels hitting the brake calipers so I am hesitant to spend 400.00 for shipping and 1200 for the rims to find out they don’t work.

... spend 400.00 for shipping and 1200 for the rims. . .
$1,600 buys a lot of good wheel, nowadays. I guess it depends on how hardcore of a JDM/OEM-Honda/Type-R aficionado you are. . .

Lol, so true but it more of being different then the JDM look. A lot of people have wheels/cars that are similar and you kind of get burnt out looking at the same and/or similar mods/wheels. Hopefully when I am done it will be fairly unique and clean looking.

Admittedly, I'm not the most knowledgeable when it comes to Honda/Acura Type-S/Type-R offerings, whether USDM/JDM/Europe/etc'. However, when I lived in England, a few years back, a friend of a friend had a Civic Type-R 'hatch w/ some Honda OEM Type-R wheels (well, that's what they appeared to be w/ the center-cap & all) that very closely resembled the '02-'05 NSX/NSX-R wheels. Now, if I was to get a set of somewhat rare, but JDM Honda OEM wheels for a 7th gen' Accord, those would be it.
I'll see if I can find some pics. . .

I was looking at the Mugen GP wheels. They are made for the Civic SI from what I can figure out. I have found them for 1900 W/ Mugen Lug Nuts.

The thing is, are they even available...(?) and $680/each is not that expensive for an imported, non-replica/original, lightweight, hand-finished & forged JDM wheel!
Also, let's not forget, this is Mugen after-all, perhaps the most ridiculously-overpriced after-market JDM parts manufacturer around.
And lastly, these wheels are better than money in the bank: you can actually use'em & show-off (priceless!), and still get all or even more of your money back. Those rims are very highly coveted, to the right buyer. If you find a motivated seller, you can acquire them for $1,750-$2,250 (usually w/ ultra-high / max' performance tires), or for obviously less if blemished/worn.
They'd look wicked on an S2000, IMHO!
