Hi everyone,
I've got a 2008 Accord Coupe EX-L with the original 17'' wheels with 225/50-17 tires. Winter tires will soon be mandatory with a new law here in Quebec and I was wondering if it was possible to go any smaller than the original size recommended by Honda.
I went to a tire dealer today and the salesperson told me it was not possible.
Do you think minus sizing will work? www.tiretrends.com suggests me to go for 215/60-16.
What do you think? :dunno:
Thanks!

You should be able to go 215-50-17 which is what the 2006 V6s are. You got some great tires to choose from here including Bridgestone Turanza LSV or whichever is the latest version. Also you got a bunch of great Yokohama tires in that size and your FE should trickle up due to much less unsprung weight.

You can go with 205/60/16 its closer to the same size as 225/50/17
