I was readjusting the knob and the metal inner rod is causing problems. when i'm in park i still can't take my key out. i managed to take it out from messing with it but now I think I need to replace that whole center area. Can someone tell me where I can get the part that has just the metal rod?

If the part is not listed separately in the diagram, I doubt you can without buying the whole assembly.

I think #10 is what you looking for including that metal rod you have mentioned. Or is that part of #8??

I had the same issue after messing with mine too. I put a manual shift boot on mine and then had the same issue. Key wouldn't come out when in park. Try pushing the gearshift forward. That's what did it for me. It has not done it in a long time now so I assume it worked itself back into the right spot.

and yeah mine worked itself bak into place as well but i still need to replace it bc i hacksawed the rod. whenever i get installed i'll DIY the boot and shiftknob conversion

yea they do, i have ordered numerous parts from them and never had any issues.

idk maybe ur in their area. a whole buncha guys from gen7accord are talking about it in the for sale thread. are u sure?

i live in va and have never had an issue. the only time they wont ship out of state is if it is for a lip kit. im on gen7accord as well, same username.

Wow i live in NY and they shipped to me so unless is a new policy but i had an order a month ago
