installing new headlights

i have a 97 accord, and I need to put new headlight housings in and i'm wondering if there are any easier ways of doing it other than taking off the front bumper and such... i know its a long shot but i'm hoping someone might know a short cut, thanks...

But seriously, do you have the service manual?
I would assume that if it says the bumper must be removed, there is probably no getting around that.

Just out of curiousity, why do you need to replace the housings?
