We all agree that the OEM tires were not chosen for comfort or noise transmission. What tires have you found to be the best for reducing road noise and bumps while maintaining decent traction?

Thanks,

Keith

I'm going with Goodyear Assurance Comfortreads when my Pilot Exaltos A/S wear out. I'll trade some handling for quiet and comfort.

My car has a set of Kumho KH16 tires and they are very quiet and handles well. I paid $79 a tire. Very nice tires but they're H-rated tires so if you really need a V-rated tire, this isn't the one for you.

What are "H" and/or "V" ratings?

Excellent info. Thanks. May I assume that these speeds are for constant speeds? If that is the case, I would be safe with Q or above rated tires.

I'll be purchasing the new Pilot A/S PLus for my car. From the reviews I've read so far, they are quiet, have excellent traction, and have a 500 treadwear rating.

Although I don't have an '08 these tires completely transformed my car from a bucking bronco (with the OEM Michs) to a good handling quiet cruiser:

The difference in wet & dry traction is also miles above the OEM tires. I can recommend first hand but they ain't cheap!

I put Bridgestone Turanza LH's on my 6th gen and they have so far been the smoothest and best performing balance I've had. Hardly wearing and staying very smooth and relatively quiet after some 30k plus miles now.
